About me

Born and raised in Sydney, Locky Cooper discovered photography at an early age, receiving his first "real" camera at the age of 10. Little did he know at the time, the camera would become such a dominant tool in his life.

He later dreamed of the idea of photography as a trade in his late teens, going along with a Professional Commercial Photographer as a volunteer assistant.

Determined to make a career with a camera in hand, he finished a Bachelor of Arts and ventured into the world of Wedding Photography.

Cooper has always loved the Human element of photography, and has enjoyed photographing Weddings, Portraits and Events for over ten years.

During his University years he developed a passion for travel through the South East Asia region.

He now travels when ever time allows and takes every chance to capture stunning images of the people, places and events that he encounters.

So far his travels have taken him though Australia, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, New Zealand and Thailand.

For now Cooper is based in the steamy outer suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand.
